International shipping

We ship to several international destinations, including Australia, Austria, Canada (North America), Denmark, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, South America – Paraguay, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States of America (USA). Please check the list of available countries during checkout. If your country is not listed, please contact our customer service at support@germancarpetshop.com or by phone at +49 40 360 911 20. We also accept custom orders.


Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

In cooperation with our trusted shipping partners, including UPS, FedEx, DPD and others, we deliver carpets to the following countries: Australia, Austria, Canada (North America), Denmark, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, South America – Paraguay, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States of America (USA).

Germany: 1-2 business days (Express) and 2-4 business days (Standard)
European Union: 1-4 business days
Express International: 1-4 business days
Standard International: 2 to 8 business days

Please note: Delivery times are estimated and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances such as customs delays, holidays and carrier delays. We offer express shipping at a highly affordable and cost-effective price in most countries to ensure that our valued customers don't have to wait long for their orders. The estimated shipping time and estimated shipping costs will be displayed during the checkout process.

Order Processing

  • Orders placed by 14:00 on a business day will be delivered within Hamburg and surrounding federal states the same day.
  • Orders are processed within 1-2 business days.
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.
  • All carpets displayed on our website are in stock and available for immediate delivery.
  • Our warehouse is located in Hamburg, Germany.
  • Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to monitor the progress of your shipment.
  • A more precise estimated delivery time will be provided at checkout.

 

Door-to-Door Delivery

  • We offer convenient door-to-door delivery to ensure your order arrives directly at your home.
  • Depending on the size and weight of your package and your country of residence, your order may be delivered by different freight companies. The available shipping options will be displayed during checkout.

 

Track Your Order

  • After shipping, you will receive an email with a tracking number.
  • You can track your order through our website under "Track Your Order" or directly through the carrier's website.

 

Packaging

  • We pack your carpets with great care to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
  • All carpets are carefully packed according to the carrier's instructions and regulations. Carpets are typically folded and placed in a thick protective plastic bag (PP) with silica gel bags to keep the shipment moisture-free, then securely sealed with heat.

 

Shipping Restrictions

  • We do not ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
  • For some oversized or heavy items, additional shipping charges or special delivery requirements may apply. This will be communicated to you before shipping.

 

Delayed or Lost Shipments

  • If your order is delayed, please contact our customer service team for assistance.
  • In the unlikely event that your shipment is lost, we will work with the carrier to locate the package or provide a replacement if necessary.

 

Damaged Items

  • If you receive a damaged item, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage and packaging.
  • We will arrange for a return and, depending on your preference, send a replacement or refund.
