International shipping
We ship to multiple international destinations, including Australia, Austria, Canada (North America), Denmark, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, South America – Paraguay, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom (UK), and the United States of America (USA).
Please check the list of available countries during the checkout process. If your country is not listed, please contact our customer service at support@germancarpetshop.com or by phone at +49 40 360 911 20. We also accept custom orders.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
In collaboration with our trusted shipping partners, including UPS, FedEx, DPD, and others, we deliver carpets to the following countries: Australia, Austria, Canada (North America), Denmark, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, South America – Paraguay, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom (UK), and the United States of America (USA).
• Germany: 1-2 business days (Express) and 2-4 business days (Standard)
• European Union: 1-4 business days
• Express International: 1-4 business days
• Standard International: 2 to 8 business days
Please note: Delivery times are estimated and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances such as customs delays, holidays, and carrier delays. We offer express shipping at a very affordable and cost-effective price in most countries to ensure our valued customers do not have to wait long for their orders. Order processing
• Orders received on a business day by 2:00 PM are delivered within Hamburg and the neighboring federal states on the same day.
• Orders are processed within 1-2 business days.
• Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
• All carpets displayed on our website are in stock and available for immediate delivery.
• Our warehouse is located in Hamburg, Germany.
• Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to monitor the progress of your shipment.
• A more precise estimated delivery time is provided at checkout.
Door-to-door delivery
• We offer convenient door-to-door delivery to ensure your order is delivered directly to your home.
• Depending on the size and weight of your package and your country of residence, the order may be delivered by different freight companies. The corresponding shipping options are displayed at checkout.
Track your order
• After shipping, you will receive an email with a tracking number.
• You can track your order via our website under "Track Your Order" or directly through the carrier's website.
Packaging
• We pack your carpets with great care to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
• All carpets are carefully packed according to the instructions and regulations of the carrier. Usually, carpets are folded and placed together with silica gel bags in a thick protective plastic bag (PP) to keep the shipment moisture-free, and then securely heat-sealed.
Shipping Restrictions
• We do not ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
• For some oversized or heavy items, additional shipping charges may apply or special delivery requirements may be necessary. You will be informed of this before shipping.
Delayed or Lost Shipments
• If your order is delayed, please contact our customer service team for assistance.
• In the unlikely event that your shipment is lost, we will work with the carrier to locate the package or provide a replacement if necessary.
Damaged Items
• If you receive a damaged item, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage and packaging.
• We will initiate a return and send a replacement or refund as per your preference.
